Organisation Structure

The Stables is run by a group of three companies:

A holding company, Wavendon Allmusic Plan Ltd (WAP), is a private company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. It is managed by a board of trustees which is responsible for policy and strategic direction. Then there are two wholly owned subsidiary companies, Stables Theatre Ltd and Stables Trading Ltd, which carry out the operational activities of the company.

The paid management team, is led by the Chief Executive and encompasses a diverse range of skills and experience. Currently, 11 full-time staff are supported by a range of part-time, casual, and freelance staff with over 250 volunteers (known as Stablemates) covering many areas of the operation including front-of-house ushering, bar and shop service, sound and lighting, marketing, education and programming administration.
