Dan Raza

Dan Raza is a 23-year old English singer who has been captivating audiences since first bringing his own brand of roots music to the stage in late 2006. He first appeared in Stage 2 at The Stables as the second act in the Acoustic Stage strand in October 2007. Since then he has continued on tour, taking his blend of blues fused with folk and country to as far flung places as Texas.

During that time, he has opened up for Joan Armatrading on her European tour and played throughout the UK, sharing the stage with artists such as Mary Gauthier, Badly Drawn Boy, Cara Dillon, Peter Case and The Sadies, as well as playing to large crowds at festivals like The Secret Garden Party and Bedrock. He has also recorded several live BBC Radio sessions.
An East London resident, Dan's song, Every Little Dog charted his response to the 7th July bombings and has been heavily featured on Neil Young's 'Living With War' website.
The Dan Raza Sings EP has now sold out of its limited edition pressing, receiving glowing reviews from press and much radio airplay, including BBC stations.
The Stables have nominated Dan in The Indy Music Awards 2008 if you were one of those lucky people who have seen Dan live you can vote for him here.
