Our box office phone lines - 01908 280800 - and in-person booking service are open as follows this week:

Please do not try to book tickets in-person at The Stables outside of these times - the box office will be closed, and we don't want you to have a wasted journey.

You can contact the box office at any time by email on boxoffice@stables.org and a member of the team will reply to your enquiry as soon as possible.  

Book online

Our online booking service via our website is also available 24/7. Once you have set up your online account, you are ready to go. Your tickets and booking confirmation will be automatically emailed to you as soon as you have completed your booking. 

If you have any specific access needs or require help with your booking, please call or email the box office.

Rescheduled/cancelled performances

As and when we need to, we will contact ticket-holders directly by email with information regarding the status of individual shows. If events are cancelled and are not to be rescheduled, customers will be offered a refund for the value of the ticket, excluding any booking fees paid.

Payment options

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Visa Delta.

Reservations

Ticket reservations must be paid for within three days of booking (excluding groups and Friends of The Stables who can reserve for up to seven days). We are unable to reserve tickets without payment within seven days prior to the performance.

Booking fees

  • For tickets up to £10, a commission fee of £1 per ticket will be charged
  • For tickets between £10.01 and £15, a commission fee of £1.50 per ticket will be charged
  • For tickets between £15.01 and £25, a commission fee of £2.50 per ticket will be charged
  • For tickets more than £25, a commission fee of £3.50 per ticket will be charged
  • From Friday 24 November 2023, for tickets more than £35, a commission fee of £4.50 per ticket will be charged.

These fees will apply to all booking channels – in person, by phone and online – and replace all previous booking charges and fees.

Booking fees do not apply to educational workshop, courses and events.

All prices published on this website reflect the charges above and are inclusive of all booking commissions, i.e this is the total price you will pay per ticket.

We charge booking fees to help us cover some of the costs associated with running a box office, including staffing, IT software, banking costs and building overheads.

We will also be offering customers the option to print their own tickets at home. Tickets can also be collected at the box office or alternatively posted out for an additional cost of £2.

Concessions/discounts

Concessions are available on selected performances and where they apply are indicated on the ticket pricing details.

Gift vouchers

Gift ticket vouchers for The Stables (any denomination) or for Café in 2 and Bar (available in £5 denominations) are available to purchase from the box office.
