Aurelio Martinez Meal Deal - A Taste of Latin America

This is Caribbean roots music for the future. Aurelio Martinez is one of the most remarkable and passionate Garifuna artists of his generation and is the tradition-bearer for this unique Central American musical style that’s rich with African, Caribbean Indian and Latin influences. He’s also a thoroughly modern artist determined to break new ground for his centuries-old roots and his virtuosity is found in his distinctive soulful vocals and his talent as a songwriter. His debut album Laru Beya (featuring Youssou N'Dour) has just been released by RealWorld.

“Idyllic, beach-strolling music, by turns breezy and melancholic…” The Telegraph
