Ben began playing the violin at the age of three, and had made six TV appearances by the time he was seven, when he played with Nigel Kennedy who recommended the Yehudi Menuhin School to him, where he now studies. Since then he has had his Purcell Room debut (age 10), appeared at the Royal Festival Hall as soloist in the Vivaldi Concerto for Four Violins and played at a huge range of music festivals. He also plays the piano and composes, and leads and participates in several string quartets.
