One of the most inventive and diverse bands to have emerged from the Scottish folk scene in recent years, Breabach’s foot-stomping reels and heart-warming delivery of songs demonstrate why they have become a household name in the folk and roots music scene. Nominated in the Scots Trad Music Awards for Best Folk Band in 2007 and 2008, they impress their audience with their collective charm and talents - pipes, flute, whistle, bouzouki, step-dance, it’s all there. They release their second album The Desperate Battle of the Birds in March 2010.
