Named after a 15th century composer, Busnoys is very much a 21st century band. Fronted by vibraphonist Martin Pyne, the trio create a rich, evocative soundworld, full of freewheeling melodic interplay and evocative atmospheres, one moment groovy and swinging, another atmospheric and tender. Virtuosic bassist Jeff Spencer is the driving force behind the exciting Resonation Big Band while drummer Trevor Davies has long been very much in demand for his subtle touch and sensitivity.
