After years performing shows based on the Great American Songbook, Clare has decided it’s time to celebrate the UK’s writing talent in her new show Hey Ho, a celebration of the Great British Songbook. Many of the songs included are assumed to be written by Americans, but actually had a lot of British involvement, for example Try A Little Tenderness by James Campbell and Reginald Connolly, Spread A Little Happiness by Vivan Ellis and He Was Beautiful by Stanley Myers and Dame Cleo Laine. The show also features modern classics such as Why by Annie Lennox and Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. Pre-concert talk – see Education section.
