Paul Clarvis (Drums).
Having led a big band together, Dankworths Major and
Minor have gone to the opposite extreme and confined
their considerable talents to a duo setting, alternating, in
this concert, with the Benny Goodman inspired Allsorts.
Both bands have a conviction that jazz should swing and
be a branch of the entertainment industry! The finale will
feature an amalgam of the two ensembles in a steaming
quintet session.
