The Strawbs first hit the charts in the UK in the early 1970s with Grave New World and Bursting At The Seams. From the mid-1970s they concentrated their attention on the USA where their albums, including the classics Hero and Heroine and Ghosts, spent over 52 weeks on the Billboard charts. The Strawbs return in their electric format with songwriter David Cousins, guitarist Dave Lambert, keyboardist John Hawken, bass player Chas Cronk, and drummer Rod Coombes – the classic 1970s line-up of Britain’s most successful international folk-rock band.
