Ensemble 360 is rapidly gaining an enviable reputation as one of the UK’s leading ensembles. The nickname of Beethoven's work The Ghost comes from its atmospheric slow movement . By contrast Brahms’ Serenade is a lively dance work that’s full of surprises. Sandwiched between the two is a beautiful, energetic and slightly jazzy new work by Welsh composer Huw Watkins, who has previously written for many leading chamber ensembles. Broken Consort was written especially for Ensemble 360 in 2008.
