After 40 years with Steeleye Span, you might think you know fiddle player Peter Knight’s music – but you could be wrong. Peter has created Gigspanner to explore the full range of music that interests him, so it’s time to leave your perceptions at the door tonight as he’s joined by guitarist Roger Flack, Afro-percussionist Vincent Salzfaas and saxophonist Trevor Watts. World music, classical, African, folk-rock, Cuban sounds – they all make up the Gigspanner mix. Fresh, lyrical and very beautiful.
