Global Voices - weekend workshop
Join three amazing vocal artists from different traditions & cultures - each one an acclaimed performer & workshop leader- for an exciting exploration of our global vocal heritage through lyrics, harmony & rhythm.
Lucky Moyo (Zimbabwe) Shaheen Khan (India) Tea Hodzic (Bosnia)
Global voices consists of two days of singing participation, exploring Southern African, Indian & Balkan songs, leading to a shared community performance alongside the workshop leaders on Sunday evening. Suitable for beginners, community choirs, and anyone interested in bringing the different song traditions together to explore cultural identities, the common ground between traditions and how we might create a new global vocal heritage. Suitable for age 15+.
