Introduction to Music Recording and Production Part 1 PLEASE CALL THE BOX OFFICE ON 01908 280800 TO BOOK Adult/15+ Workshop
10am - 4pm

Our popular one-day course is ideal for beginners, for those who want a refresher or anyone who would like a basic introduction to recording and production using music technology.

Working from The Stables’ studio and control room and also on the main stage, this handson workshop will look at microphone and production techniques and how to record different instruments. We’ll be using MAC computer and Logic Software, but in a way that also covers the principles that apply generally across other Digital Audio Workstations software such as Ableton, Cubase and Sonar.

The focus will be on recording and production rather than just creating within the software and you’ll be able to take away audio files of tracks produced to further practice the skills you’ve learned. If you play an instrument, please bring it along for the afternoon recording session to learn how best to record it.

(Follow on workshop on 25 Nov for those interested in looking in more detail into studio based recording and production)
