Janet Seidel - Australia’s first lady of jazz singing - and her trio combine old and new material to showcase the elegant, nonchalant approach which has made Janet’s recorded work so identifiable, using minimal amplification to suit the pure and natural sound of Janet’s voice. The repertoire spans jazz standards and pop songs of the past, French chanson and Latin American influences. Along with Janet’s renowned vocal style and piano accompaniment, listeners can also enjoy the talents of guitarist Chuck Morgan and David Seidel on double bass.
