Piper Joanne McIver and harpist Christophe Saunière recorded a CD together entitled Leaving Arran, based on a book of bagpipe tunes Joanne wrote about her home island and which helped Christophe to rediscover his Celtic roots. This led to tours throughout Europe and another three albums, The Dwarfie Stone (2004), Glenfinnan to Glasgow (2006) and The Three Sisters (2008). Launched in February 2008, again with entirely original material, The Three Sisters is composed around a story that Joanne wrote about the Machrie standing stones on the west coast of Arran.
