Creativity, humour, theatricality and strong melodic themes with folk and jazz roots combine in Scottish saxophonist Phil Bancroft's dazzling multi-media study of what 'home' means to us now. Small As The World is a major statement from one of Europe's most individual jazz voices, with video back projection, a solo from a special guest playing live over Skype from their front room, a men vs women musical housework race and a fantastic seven-piece band featuring Scottish folk supergroup Lau's fiddler Aidan O'Rourke, Amsterdam's Felicity Provan on trumpet and Scottish guitar wunderkind Graeme Stephen.
