Stackridge
On September 19 1970 Stackridge played the first note at the first Glastonbury festival. And now, 38 years on, they’re back playing Glastonbury again – along with a host of gigs and festivals (from the 100 Club to Cropredy) throughout the summer as they tour their new studio album. Strangely strange and wonderfully wonderful, expect some weirdness tonight from a band whose back catalogue includes titles like Purple Spaceships Over Yatton, The Indifferent Hedgehog and No One’s More Important Than The Earthworm & classic hit Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime which you can hear below. Please press play.
