Steve Hackett is an immensely talented and innovative rock musician, lead guitarist with Genesis as part of their classic line up with Gabriel, Collins, Banks and Rutherford. An extraordinarily versatile guitar player, his work is influenced by many genres including jazz, world music and blues. He is equally gifted in the classical arena with albums including pieces by composers from Bach to Satie and his own ambitious guitar/orchestra pieces such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, which was recorded with the Royal Philharmonic. Steve's live gigs take his fans on a journey across all areas, from his Genesis days right through to the present, all woven together by his unique and distinctive rock guitar sound.
