1990s chart-toppers The Lightning Seeds’ pop classics included the hits Pure, The Life of Riley, Lucky You, Perfect, Sugar Coated Iceberg and of course the World Cup anthem Three Lions. Frontman Ian Broudie returned last year with a new Lightning Seeds album, after taking a back seat over recent years producing bands likes The Coral, The Zutons and The Subways. Wrapped in melody and full of the kind of timeless emotional depth we've come to expect from him, Four Winds is both uplifting and thought provoking.
