The Spooky Men's Chorale

For many years sceptics believed the Spooky Men to be a mere cryptozoological legend – Australia’s equivalent to the Beast of Dartmoor, perhaps - although early settlers in the Blue Mountains reported occasional sightings, attacks on livestock and unidentified pawprints. But now mythology is proven to be fact, as this fearsome bunch of larrikins join us with a full range of facial hair configurations and the ability to make audiences both laugh and weep at the hopeless beauty (and hapless stupidity) of their vocal machinations as they sing songs about manly stuff - stepping on Lego, growing beards, their favourite power tools and mastodons.

For £26.50 you can enjoy a bit of non-scary “bush tucker” (nothing that wriggles will be on offer, and vegetarian options will be available!) served in Café in2. Includes a ticket for the concert. Go to www.stables.org for menu details. Book in advance through the Box Office to reserve your table.
