Steve Gifford has seen a meteoric rise in his popularity and public recognition, appealing to a growing acoustic audience who enjoy self-styled individual songwriters. His writing crosses over several genres such as Americana, folk rock and country. These days Steve tours with bass guitarist Ian Catchpole and Simon Ambrose on drums. The band formed in 2008 shortly after the album launch of the 3rd album Boy On A Beach, which reached number 22 in the Euro Americana charts. Steve’s fourth album Ungodly Hour was released in February 2010.
