In 2005 musician, actor, comedian and writer Tim Minchin became the most talked-about comedy act of the Edinburgh Fringe with his debut show Dark Side. In 2006 he was back with a brand new, dark and brilliant show, So Rock, encompassing evolution, childhood obesity, spiders and Sigmund Freud, all charmingly channelled through the fast fingers and acid tongue of a must-see act. He might sing like a rock star and play like an angel but he’s got a devil of a sense of humour, and now he’s stuck the best bits of his shows together and he’s taking them on the road.
