Two of the UK’s top ukulele players have come together to show just how good ukuleles are, and just why they have become so popular again. Both of these talented musicians and vocalists have taken their instruments about as far from George Formby as you can get, but still keep a candle burning for that lamp post! Enjoy an evening with two superb musicians and a program of music from Sinatra to Stereophonics via Andy Williams and Oasis .

Steven Sproat is a singer/songwriter, guitarist and ukulele maestro with 3 albums and numerous performances to his name, including Ronnie Scott’s with The Ukulele Orchestra. With airplay on Radio 2 and many others, his name linked with many celebrities who have sought out Steven as a ukulele teacher. His set tonight will also showcase his guitar based songs so expect a bit of pop, some ballads, jazz, and some surprise numbers on ukulele!

Elias Sibley is one of the Uk’s finest fingerstyle uke players –favouring the tenor ukulele and baritone in order to achieve the precision sound and complexity of his performances. Classically trained, Elias is a recognised virtuoso of guitar, banjo and mandolin and to see him play ukulele in the same manner is a treat to behold.
