A mix of styles forms the Vandeville sound. Their lyrics have warmth, maturity and depth, combined with a natural storytelling charm, and their ability to come up with a classic pop hook aligns them with their influences, including Fleetwood Mac, Coldplay, David Bowie, Rufus Wainwright, Elton John, The Smiths and Jackson Browne. The band’s debut album Ten Years Of Talk In Mexico City was released in September 2009 and was produced by Ian Grimble (The Cranberries, Texas and The Manic Street Preachers).
