Fay Hield & the Hurricane Party
Love and betrayal, witchcraft, playground games, a hornet and a beetle … folk singer Fay Hield and her stellar band offer an enticing glimpse into the world of English folklore. Fay Hield is “one of folk music’s most pre-eminent modern voices” (MOJO), and was the brain behind The Full English, an academic project that she transformed into an award-winning show. Full English musicians are here in The Hurricane Party, alongside Fay, breathing new life into ancient tales.

Join Fay and band for an engaging exploration of the repertoire of the English tradition. At times sparse and contemplative, at others, fired-up with a spirit-lifting rhythm and plenty of rousing choruses, the music is both captivating and thought-provoking.
