Tonight Christine performs songs from her recent critically-acclaimed release Secret Life Of A Girl – inimitable Tobin originals and ravishing covers of Leonard Cohen, Rufus Wainwright and others. Her style, although rooted in jazz, draws from a wide range of influences and this versatility ensures that she is much in demand as a guest vocalist, working with Billy Childs, Django Bates, Kenny Wheeler, Julian Arguelles, Tim Garland, Gary Husband and the BBC Big Band – to name a few. Christine was the winner of the BBC Jazz Awards Best Vocalist Award in 2008.
